• Your settings: themes, colors, layout, course colors and short names, and class times you edited.
• Custom themes, their background photos, stickers and sticky notes.
• Your Pro key, if you bought Pro.

These are kept in your browser’s storage so they’re there next time. Clearing your browser’s data for SlipSnap removes them.

Visitor counts

SlipSnap counts visits and a few anonymous events (such as “a wallpaper was saved” or “a slip couldn’t be read”, without any of its content) with GoatCounter. It uses no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites or build a profile of you.

When you buy Pro

Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects what it needs to take the payment, such as your email, name and payment details. SlipSnap can see your email, name, the amount, the payment method type and the receipt number in its Stripe account, and uses them only to give you Pro, restore it, handle refunds and keep records the law requires. SlipSnap never sees your card number or bank login.

Hosting

SlipSnap is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles the technical details every website receives, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Problem reports

If you choose to report a problem, it goes to GitHub, where reports are public. The report form only includes what you see in it before you send it.

Your rights

Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you can ask what personal data SlipSnap holds about you (only purchase details, if you bought Pro), and ask for it to be corrected or deleted where the law allows. Email athif194@yahoo.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated.
